The Cipher EA workflow
Cipher EA is in development. The planned product is an Expert Advisor file that runs inside your own compatible MT4 or MT5 desktop terminal. Forex Cipher will provide the EA file, license and setup guide; your broker provides your trading terminal and account. Strategy rules, risk/reward and the final settings will be published with the product.
1. Receive your file and license
Choose Standard or Standard Pro when the product is available. After payment and activation are confirmed, My Products will show your compatible file, license details, activation date and expiry date. Final plan pricing and feature differences will be confirmed before launch.
2. Match the file to your platform
MT4 needs its compatible .ex4 build and MT5 needs its compatible .ex5 build. These files are separate; renaming an extension does not convert the EA. Confirm that the released build supports your platform and account before purchase.
3. Add the EA to your own terminal
- Open File → Open Data Folder in your desktop terminal.
- Place the MT4 build in MQL4/Experts, or the MT5 build in MQL5/Experts.
- Refresh the Navigator or restart the terminal, then attach the EA to the chart and timeframe described in its guide.
- Complete the activation steps supplied with the final build and review its inputs.
- Test on a demo account before enabling live automated trading. Keep the terminal running and connected while using the EA.
4. One month, with a clear expiry
The planned license lasts one month from activation. My Products will show the activation and expiry dates; renewal will be required for continued licensed use. The final EA build will need activation and expiry checks before this behavior can be enforced inside the terminal.
Product specifications to follow
Entry and exit logic, position sizing, risk/reward, supported markets, account limits and Standard / Standard Pro feature differences are still being finalized. This guide will be updated with those specifications and the complete activation instructions before release.
Review inputs before enabling trading
Use the EA settings checklist to understand activation, sizing, trade management and terminal errors. Final presets and screenshots will be supplied with the completed EA.
